LUCAS COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) –
A new technology could help law enforcement when they’re involved in a high speed chase.
On Thursday, the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office met with representatives from StarChase, a company that makes deployable GPS trackers to be used in high speed chases.

“It’s a life saving tool, because what it does for the agency is protects the officers. It empowers police, mitigates risks and protects the community,” said Respess.
