Hamilton County police agencies seeking public input on high-speed pursuits

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio —

High-speed chases are proven to be dangerous and proved to be deadly multiple times in the Cincinnati area last year alone.

At a time police pursuits are under the microscope, Hamilton County’s 44 agencies are working together to create a uniform pursuit policy.

The Hamilton County Association of Chiefs of Police voted in the fall to start the process, and months later, they are asking for the community’s input.
