ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) — A police chase involving a stolen car in St. Francis ends in a crash in Milwaukee with two people being taken to the hospital.
St. Francis Police say they received a call around 3:15 a.m. from someone saying his car had just been stolen. Officers responded and say they found the vehicle in the area. The vehicle was seen speeding northbound on S. Kinnickinnic Avenue and officers tried to stop the vehicle. Police say at this point, a pursuit was started.
As the vehicle reached the area of S. Kinnickinnic Avenue and E. Oklahoma Avenue, the vehicle lost control attempting to turn west onto E. Oklahoma Avenue and crashed into a bus shelter and a gas station pole.
